Huw Jenkins is a writer who needed a website to help promote his new book “Not Just a Pretty Place: Survival in Snowdonia.” The site is also used to promote other services such as public speaking, marketing support and freelance writing.
This is very much a ‘calling card’ website – typically people are pointed to it when discussing an assignment or speaking opportunity.
The consistent theme on every page is ‘story telling’ and this is reflected in the headers and footers – ‘Once upon a time....’ and ‘......happily ever after’. The imagery used is in keeping with the sorts of stories the author likes to tell i.e. local history and the natural world.
